Successful Implementation of Xactly’s CEA at Classy for Accurate Commission Accruals and Improved Sales Data Visibility.

Commission accrual is a critical process for any SAAS company, but it can be tedious and time-consuming when done using spreadsheets. This was the case for Classy, where the spreadsheet-based process made it difficult to track individual deals and ensure proper accounting. To address these challenges, Classy evaluated and implemented Xactly’s Incent and CEA tools to automate sales compensation and commission accruals.

The successful implementation was done with the help of SpectrumTek, who adopted a ‘Customer Enablement’ approach to train Classy’s accounting team to operate the system. The use of CEA significantly reduced the time taken to close the accounting month, eliminated manual spreadsheet-based processes, and improved visibility into sales data, enabling better decision-making for accrual approach.
